Install darktable 4.0.0 on Fedora 36
Step 1: Add the darktable repository to the fedora system.
dnf config-manager — add-repo https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics:/darktable/Fedora_36/graphics:darktable.repo
Step 2: Update the repos and install darktable
dnf install darktable
Install darktable 4.0.0 on Ubuntu / Linux Mint
Step 1: Add the darktable repository and key to the system
